Description

Compatibility with other products:

Compatible with other pesticides and agrochemicals that have a neutral reaction. Before preparing working mixtures, it is advisable to test the products for compatibility (absence of sediment, foam, separation, clumping, incomplete dissolution of one of the products, etc.). Do not mix with copper-based products, pyrimethanil, oily formulations, surfactants, or nitrogen-based foliar fertilizers.

Application instructions:

A key factor in achieving high efficacy is uniform and high-quality spraying of the entire surface of cultivated plants without runoff. The optimal time for fungicide application to control fire blight on apple trees is the “pink bud” phenophase—the beginning of flowering before petal fall—to prevent infection, which primarily begins in the stigma. The product quickly penetrates plant tissue and spreads acropetally (bottom-up) and basidiographically (top-down), providing better crop protection against oomycetes compared to contact fungicides and major systemic ones. Virton has a dual effect: a direct fungicidal effect on pathogens and also stimulation of the plant’s natural immunity against internal infection. Application rates for the working solution should be selected based on the crop’s development stage, plant age, and the severity of disease. Minimum application rates are used at the beginning of the growing season and when the infection level is low, while maximum rates are used during intensive leaf surface development and high infection levels. Spraying is carried out at an air speed of up to 5 m/s. The interval between treatments is 14-21 days, depending on hydrothermal conditions. Optimum temperatures for spraying are 10-25°C and optimal air humidity (at least 40%).

The maximum number of treatments is 3. The waiting period from the last treatment to harvest is 30 days for grapes, and 28 days for apples and tomatoes.

Application rates of the working solution: fruit trees – 500-1000 l/ha, vineyards – 500-800 l/ha, field crops – 150-300 l/ha.

Advantages of the product:

– a fungicide with a long-lasting protective effect, allowing for reduced frequency of spraying and protecting new growth;

– highly effective in controlling oomycetes and fire blight;

– provides preventative and therapeutic action against pathogens;

– can be used on many agricultural crops and plantings;

– no risk of resistance development due to its mechanism of action.
